Exclamation Door attachment nuts fell off inside frame

My son has a 2015 Civic sedan, and was t-boned. The driver's door took most of the damage, so we got a used door to replace it. However, when we took the hinge attachments bolts out of the bottom hinge, whatever the bolts were threaded into fell off, on the inside of the frame! I'm guessing maybe the impact broke spot welds holding the nuts in place? Anyway, we have looked all over for a way to get into the frame from the back to put new bolts, but there doesn't appear to be a way to access the hinge mounts from the inside. Anyone with more experience have some ideas? Thanks
