I have read a few threads on door lock issues and none of them explain exactly what is happening with my driver side door. I was wondering if some of you might post what you think is the problem with my door lock. I would really appreciate it.

Anyway, I put my key in the driver side door today to open it and the key turned to the right and did not bounce back, nor did the door open. I had to force the key back to the left to get it out of the door. I tried to use the remote to open the door and it would make noise but not unlock. I went the the passenger side door and used the remote, it unlocked the door and I was able to crawl in and drive home. When I arrived home I tried to unlock the door manually from the inside and it continued to be stuck in the lock position. I pushed the automatic door button on the inside and was able to open the door between the time I pushed the button and when the door clicked back to the locked position. I read on other threads about the actuator, but they seemed to describe the remote not working at all for this to be the issue. Does anyone have any ideas.
