Hi everyone thought this may help anyone with this problem. My Daughters 8th gen Civic had a wet floor so I looked online and found lots of people were having the same problem. I looked at all the possible causes, in the end I found that one of the grommets was missing. It was missing from the door frame where the door hinges are mounted and where any electric cables can be installed from the outside into the cabin just above the bonnet release latch.
