Hello,
The SRS light appears on my dashboard and I would like to delete it if possible, some advice from you would be welcome. During a scan with a diagnostic tool, I was given the error code 12-10. I want to specify that the light is on but sometimes it disappears for even a day if no one is sitting in the passenger seat. The car had a small frontal accident in the past that did not trigger the airbag.
Although I deleted the error code, it reappears immediately, I searched on the internet if I could delete this SRS from the board and I found some tips... one is the paper clip method but I didn't find anyone who tried it on the 9th generation. two procedures would be those with a 2.2 ohm resistor, which I didn't read properly and I simply don't understand.
Please, if you have any advice, they are welcome and I thank you in advance
I thought you said you already deleted the code and it immediately reappears? That means there is an actual issue with the passenger air bag that should be fixed.

Yes, I want to fix it and I would like to DIY it using the paper clip or the 2 ohm resistor method, but I don't know if anyone has tried the 9th generation and I would like some detail if anyone on this forum has tried these methods...or any advice related to my problem
BrotatoChip and Colin42 Thank you for the advice, yes I will give up the 2ohm resistor method. But I will look for a thread on the internet (I hope to find) the paperclip method if anyone has done it on the 9th gen
I recently had the side air bag light come on, stay on, sometimes go out for a while and then come back on steady. After a little research I discovered that the passenger seat belt was wrapped around the seat-back lever. After untangling it, I never had another problem. Save a few hundred $$ and check out the simple things first before heading off to the dealer.
