Tpms option not selecting but have electrical fault codes too

Hi. Trying to reset my tpms, which has been on for a while, I thought do to slow punctures, however after having new tires fitted and my very knowledgeable mechanic had my car in to change the AB’s sensor which we thought was the problem, but seems everything is working as it should and tire pressures are fine but that I cannot select into that particular option (tpms) on the menu, it just will not allow it or reset even with his machine plugged in, , he’s reading electrical faults, which are -Key codes are body control module unit with error codes B1031 and B1240only thing I can do is go to Honda and I’m not paying what they would want! Car is an auto 2010 civic type S GTAny advice would be greatly appreciated

Sometimes paying Honda's prices are cheaper than paying someone who can't fix it....

he also said you could just live it, but would it not be silly of me not to post on a Honda forum in case someone has had this before ? But thanks for your input 👌🏻
