ECU replacement
ECU replacement
My honda civic 2007 japan ECU got burnt, and I replaced it with another 2 different ecu with similar part number 37820-RNA-Y84-47820-121664 engine not reving after the replacements. Later I got another one with different part number the engine rev but idle rough. Please what can I do.

google can't locate anything on the original ECU...
Check:
Engine code - Should be around where the engine mates with transmission. Should be a R18 or R16 something
you will need to find matching ECU for it.
Manual or auto trans will matter, ECU controls auto trans. CVT or traditional trans will matter as well
