888 speedometer reading

I've got a 2011 Civic LX. The speedometer intermittently reads 888 usually until the engine is warmed up. Seems to be getting worse. From what I've read it could be a bad vehicle speed sensor. Can anyone confirm that? Also where is that sensor located? I can't find anything online that specifically shows that.
