V.S.S. Variable Speed Sensor Replaced Speedometer Remain Erratic

I replace my V.S.S. variable speed sensor because my speedometer was acting erratic. After the replacement it remained erratic but not as extreme. What are your suggestion to resolve this?

Re: V.S.S. Variable Speed Sensor Replaced Speedometer Remain Erratic

Could have wiring issues.
Could need a speedometer.

Got any VSS related codes?

If you smack the dash when it's acting up, does it help anything?

By the way, the V in VSS stands for "vehicle", not "variable".
