Oxygen Sensor?!
Ok, hey ya'll... i've taken my car into Honda *3* times now because I have a problem when i get gas.. my car doesn't start when I get gas. I have to keep trying and tryin and trying and then it dies like 12000 times when i finally get it started.. i take like 20 minutes @ the gas station. two people told me to check to O2 sensor, so i told the guys @ Honda that thats what i thought it was, but they said that the faulty O2 sensor wouldn't cause "that type of problem" so they replaced the gas cap and the ENTIRE evap. system, but i went to the gas station that same day i got my car back, and it still gave me trouble, and it seemed actually worse this time around... if anyone knows anything about O2 sensors, i'd certainly appreciate some help on this, some backup info to tell the guys @ Honda. thanks!~CaiT*
no it isn't O2S - I may say 99.9% for sure
that's why - at the start time O2S doesn't give anything to car's comp.
or it's ignored until O2S is warm (hot > 150F)
in brief - O2S helps to control emmisions
even you unplug all your O2S you can run on your car.
try to get a Chilton manual in your local lib. - it may help you.
