Engine Light came on....and bypass valve

Engine Light came on....and bypass valve

Just came from the dealer, They told me that it is the air bypass valve to bypass the cylinoid. The Service rep told me that It's to let air inside to mix with the gas. They will replace the bypass, does this make sense?

It makes sence if thats what fixes the problem, when are they going to replace it?

They ordered the part, Ready on Monday. I just found my order sheet it says;

123505 PGM Test-Evap-Ordered BY PASS Solenoid

Engine Light On CODE: P1457 123505 (068)

My car did not show any symptoms at all. Hmmm
