30,000 miles

I have recently approached 30,000 miles with my car. Since it's that time to get a check up, I decided not to get one because they're so damn expensive. I was just wondering if the check up is a big deal or not. So far the only problem I've had with the car is that the tires are deflating like crazy, I've been inflating the tires almost ever other day. Another problem I have is the Maintenance Required light. I don't know how important this is, but I was just wondering what everybody else thinks of the 30,000 mile check up.

HYPR DRV will become famous soon enough
The maintenance required light isn't a problem if it's doing what I think it's doing. On our cars, the MR light comes on about every 8,000 miles to remind us to get the recommended maintenance, and supposedly the tech at the dealer is supposed to reset it for you so it doens't go off everytime you turn the ignition. However, if you don't want to get the thing checked, there is a procedure in the manual that tells you how to reset it. It's easy. However, if that's not what you're talking about, I guess I'd have it checked out just to be sure.

ok this is what i have done. Im now at 71k. No im not joking either. This is all I have ever done. Change my oil with synthetic, switched to bosch platium +4 plugs at 40k. And tranny oil at 60k. My car has oem brakes still, and runs like new. At 90k I am changing the timing belt and water pump. Prolly fuel filter too. Other then that, shes perfect.

I changed mine to Denso Iridium IK20 @ 16,000 mile or so. I posted reviews somewhere.....overall it's a good mod for fuel efficiency.
