ive had my car for over 9 months and it has 5700 miles on it. mind you, i keep it keep in a heated garage all through the seasons. today, i was doing my every-2-week-check on my tire pressure at shell when i noticed something odd: Rust. yes, on one of my tires there are 2 lugnuts that have little rust on them. no, i do not have aftermarket tires either... theyre just stock hubs and steelies. would honda be willing to replace them under warrantee? if so i will get this fixed in the next 300 -500 miles when i go for my oil change and tire rotation. would that be bad if i ride around with the little bit of rust on them?
let me know what I should/shouldnt or could do. Also, what can I do to prevent rust occuring on other ones? i really dont want to hear how much honda customer service sucks, i just want to know if theyll replace it under warrantee. trust me, i know how to deal with bad customer service, ill get past them...
thanks for the help

I think it would depend on what kind of rust, if its just surface rust then I dont think they'll do anything about it. If its a part that s covered under the body corrosion warranty, then they should. Lug nuts or any metal that can rust will when its protective coating(if it even has any) wears or is removed. Doesnt hurt to ask though..
