Car got towed and now can't run

A sling of bad luck as i noticed a black cat cross my path a few minutes before my first bad luck incident occured. First i leave to drive my girlfriend off in Staten Island ( I live in Jersey) and as soon as im over the bridge i catch a flat tire. Okay i know how to change tires except now one of my lugnuts got stripped in the process of me removing my wheels and i can't switch to the donut. Bummer number two right! Then i get a tow truck to show up first w/ a pull tow after a half hour of deliberation he decides to leave and come back w/ a flatbed. Fine my car is on the flatbed. I disarm my alarm and put on my hazards. He towes me cross state to jersey $338.00 *ouchy*. Then in front of my house i try to turn on the engine. It doesn't want to turn on. I notice the security light on my stock head unit keeps blinking vigorously, and i know my battery didn't die, but what could be the case? Now i have a flat tire (17 inch enkei's w/ piece of **** toyo proxes fz4's) w/ a stripped lock and a non starting engine in my front yard. What the hell should I do? Please someone help me.

Your battery could be low on power because your hazard lights were on, the battery has enough juice to power you lights but not crank the engine. The lug nut can be removed by getting a 6 point heavy duty impact socket and pound the socket on the lug, then use a breaker bar with the socket and the lug nut should come off. I've removed many stripped lugs this way. BTW you also might want to invest in AAA, a year membership is about $50, and AAA would've covered most of your tow. Just my 2¢ worth, let us know how it works out.

If you have full coverage, depending on insurance companies, they cover tow's also. My brother had his car towed, costed 60 bucks, and than got it back. We have State Farm, you might wanna check.
