seat problem(not the rocking problem)
seat problem(not the rocking problem)
Hey, I'm starting to have a problem with my driver's side seat. I don't have that usual rocking/shifting seat problem that you've all talked about. My problem is that when I adjust the seat back, the handle stays stuck and seems loose. Here's the scenario, I'll recline/decline the seat back and when I get it to the right spot, the lever won't lock. I'll have to grab the seat back and jerk it to get it into position and then sometimes push the handle back down. The handle itself seems loose enough that it could break if I keep doin this. Also, when I move the seat forwards or backwards, I have to jerk the seat with my body's weight to get it to lock into position. The other day I moved it after my mom had driven it and when I began accelaerating, the seat slid all the way back because it had not locked like it should have. Granted I wasnt goign fast, but if this happened to someone else, they could easily lose control of the car, especially someone of a shorter stature. Anyway, has anyone else had this problem?

same here.
2 words, Honda quality.... haha
i dont think that's fixable unless you replace the whole seat and rails.

I have the same problem with the back of my seat. It's always been that way. Thank gosh I don't ever move it. I think honda requested the cheapest and shittest seat on the face of the earth for the civics.
