Seatbelt

02/EX coupe, my driver seatbelt latch is going out, the belt wont buckle in and it wont come out without having to play with the red button. anyone else exp this?

I've never heard of this problem with the Civics but, my girlfriends Corolla seatbelt did the same thing but after a while it wouldn't release and it took her about 15 minutes before she could figure how to get out of the car.

I'd take it to the dealer ASAP, even if the car is out of warrenty I think the seatbelts are warrented for the life of the car. (I think) Besides the belt might break loose if you get into a accident.

Damn well better be...I spent about an hour trying to get a girl out of an Integra. I was just about ready to cut the belt when it finally released.

Unless the seatbelt tentioner is froze up its really easy to get out of your car if the latch doesn't release, my girlfriend found this out after a little panicing. Just pull all the seat belt slack out of the seatbelt reel in the door pillar and just loosen up the belt in your lap and climb out.
