dirty throttle

Has anyone taken off their filters and look down on the throttle, i got a nasty black, dirty one from the butterfly down to the manifold. I hope to take it out with thrtottle&carb cleaner but scum would get in my combustion chambers. I know there's some loss in power here...Got the same prob?

Stuff a rag down there. Then use some throttle body cleaner to clean the residue off.

the filter wasn't that dirty, i suspect it must be comin from the PCV valve. it goes straight into the throttle w/o passing through the filter. just got some throttle body cleaner but its hard to stick a rag coz the butterfly gets in the way.

MangoEX should not be trusted
what i was told to do b4 is spray the cleaner, let it sit, and start the car and let it suck the dirty fluid and burn it, and shut the car off and repeat til the canis gone.... is this harmful? i dunno about stuffin a rag down there..what if lint fibers get in the TB?

that's what im worried about, stuff a rag and lint goes into your tb plus its hard to do. and if i let the cleaner to get sucked, deposits would also form in my oil, plugs and internals of the engine.
