Couple Questions
Questions:
1) I know this has been posted before, but I'm getting that water gurgling/rushing sound coming from my passenger side. I'm completely stock when it comes to drivetrain mods. From what I've read, it's coolant or coils or something. Well, I live in Tennessee so it does get a little nippy and I use my heater. But I have yet to keep it at full heat for an extended period of time. I know everyone says it's normal to hear the noise, but I hear it a lot. It's also rather loud (I can hear easily it over the radio). Anyone know if I can remedy this stupid noise?
2) When I turn off my car, it shutters HARD. The whole car shakes. I don't remember this happening before. Anyone know what's going on?
3) My autodown window wasn't working right, so I wiped it up with silicon spray. Unfortunately, I don't think my spray was 100% silicon... So I got little streaky/dotty marks on my window. Well, the autodown works great now, but it's still a little streaky. Anyways I can get it off?
4) I don't think I got any of those hooks to hold my floor mats in. So, my floormats (which came with the car from the dealership) slide all over the place. Sometimes they end up on top of my pedals. Will Honda give me these hooks for free or how much will they cost
5) I'm getting Allman's generic strut tower bar. He mentioned that I have to move something... but I can't entirely remember. Anyone know what it is I have to move? Could anyone explain to me exactly what I have to do and how to do it? Thanks.
6) I noticed that wiping off bird crap from my car tends to scratch the paint. Anyone know what I can do to break down the crap before I start wiping?
I got a 02 EX Coupe. Thanks for the help guys. I really appreciate it.

The gurgling sound is coming from your heater core when you have the heat on. The sound is mainly from air being trapped in the heater system. Not a big deal, but check your collant level when your engine is cold and make sure its topped off.
About shuttering when turning off your engine, it could be that you need to run a higher octane gas. This is what alot of peeps refer to as 'dieseling'. Running a higher octane can help sometimes.
About the streaks on your window, try window cleaner? Or perhaps a use a water and vinagar mix.
On my '02 EX, it came with hooks but I think only on the drivers side. Not sure.. but there are little pegs under my drivers seat that the mats plug into.
Dunno about the strut bar.
For bird crap, I just use hot water and soap. Let it soak a few then wipe off softly...

the dealership is supposed to install the hooks for the mats, I work at a dealership and they rarely do install them. As for the bird crap, spray it with a little meguires quick detailer, let it sit for a few seconds and then wipe off slowly with a soft towel...
go back to the dealer and get your hooks, thats a lawsuit waiting to happen for them if they don't do it. Back in '97/'98 there actually was a recall because someones mats got stuck on the accelerator...
