grrr!! damn dents!
im sooo sick of finding new dents and scratches on my doors. WTF!!! cant people be carefull about dinging other peoples cars when they open their doors? jesus- when i open my doors to get in or out of my car; ill do everything in my power not to hit the car next to me with my door! ill ever turn into a contortionist once in a while! i dont have any experience getting any sort of body work done...someone dinged my door so hard the paint chipped.. how much do u guys think that would cost to get fixed (the chip and the dent)? would they have to repaint the whole door? does it come out lookin perfect?
thanks!
thanks!

Damn!! I have the same problem. 3 huge scratches on the side molding, another 2 dings on the back and 1 on the left fender due to people opening the doors and hitting my car . If i were u though Ill just leave it cuz I garantee that its gonna happen again near that same spot. Its hard to keep cars perfect.
Look at any recent (1992 and up) Honda or Acura. Chances are, you will see that the doors are riddled with dings and dents. I swear, Honda probably uses a lower grade of steel on their cars that does not have the thickness and strength that other cars do. This is probably for fuel efficiency (lighter car powered by smaller engine equals higher MPG). Especially on older Civics, like the 5th generation 1992-1995 models, you will see tons of dings up and down the doors.
My '02 is no exception; I have a nice large one back by the fuel door as well as one on the opposite side by the C pillar and two small creases on the passenger side door. I can just picture some stupid driver flinging the door open and hitting my car.
