Anybody else had this happen?

Hey you all..I'm new here by the way so hi

Well I got my 2002 Civic LX Coupe this Oct and I've already had a boo-boo with it. When I was parking one time..forgeting how low Hondas are to the ground already...the concrete parking thing screwed up the rubber bumper piece underneath my FRONT bumper when I parked. Basically it was hanging down afterwords and its annoying. I didn't realize it was hanging down untill later. I've managed a few times to just nudge it back in place..but I'm not sure if it has to be bolted back, glued or what. Anybody had his problem before..or what should I do? Thanks!

Actually, I had the same thing happen to me. Although, it wasn't my car. It was one of my dad's big **** boats that I borrowed to take the family on vacation in. Long story short, get up under there and screw the darn thing back on. I had to use the drill to make holes on this particular car but it may not be necessary on the vic. He has never noticed and I am not telling...LOL

That's happened to me too. All you have to do is push that rubber thing back in sideways, not upwards. If you look carefully, you will see tracks on the bumper, and the rubber has a track that sticks out. Just snap the rubber back into the track, down the entire length.

same thing happened to me when i went to my grandmothers house, I didnt realize how steep the drive way was until that night, i entered straight up. I felt the front of the car pop up and felt like i was dragging something . I parked and noticed that black lip/strip hanging. so in my dress clothes i got on my knees and popped back in. so far so good.
