Coupe & Sedan different beam pattern?
I notice the Sedan's headlights have a slightly different chrome housing than the coupe's. The sedans has more cuts to the chrome reflector and it doesnt look as good a quality as the coupes. Do you guys notice a difference in light output? Why did Honda change the headlamps slightly? My friend has a 2002 sedan and I have a coupe.. so i dont thik it has to do with the years.
It's possibly due to the origin of make. The headlight in general is different for both cars besides the striations in the chrome. The sedan uses a stronger adhesive to seal the light. It doesnt have clips like the coupe headlights, and even the rubber piece that holds in the H4 bulb is different.
While I don't know if it's the reason, my guess would be that the sedan headlights come from Japan while the Coupe ones are made here. Why they would be different because of that, I don't know. I would also think that the coupe sits a little bit lower, so since the headlights on the car might be a bit lower, they might have to compensate on the headlight design.
