Is it normal for a

2001 Civic LX Sedan NOT having a "lights on reminder" or is it just mine.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

BTW, awsome site!

If you're referring to the sound a car makes when your accidentally leave your lights on, then you should have this feature. If it's not working, then something is wrong.

that's exactly what Im talking about... but I'm not sure whether or not the 2001 Sedan LX did ever come with that feature. So, can anyone out there with the same ride could confirm this.

Thanks

In most cars now, the noise or buzzer isnt until you open the door with the lights on. Thats the way it is in my EX. Try it.

I've got a SEDAN LX and yes, it does make a very annoying BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP, constant when you leave the lights on, turn off the car, and open the door. The door has to be open though, otherwise, the sound stops.

I found out why it's possibly not working... after looking all over the place I noticed that the driver side door pin switch is broken so I guess that's why I don't hear anything. I will have to replace the switch and verify everyone's suggestions.

Thank you all, once again.
