Ok so heres the deal. it seems every time i set my alarm even if for only 5 mins. i go out to start my car and it wont start. if i give it a just it starts right up. so that rules out the Altinator. i cleaned the battery terminals so that they shine. the conections are nice and tight. If i dont turn the alarm on it starts up fine. When the car wont start, my head lights still turn on, all dashboard instruments work. though the lights are alittle bit dim. when i try to start the car it make a sound like its trying to turn over but just wont do it. also i can take the key out of the ignition and the car still keeps trying to start every 5 secs..???? Im going to take it to the Auto store and check the battery to see if its just not holding a complete charge. maybe the Alarm has a relay switch that is just drawing to much amperage, if so i need a battery. if its ok then maybe the Alarm or Remote Starter.. Have anyone every heard of anything like this...

i believe the alarm i have is the Viper 300s or Viper 500s

Doesnt sound like the battery is bad.. perhaps bad faulty connection in your wiring or install? I wonder what would happen if you bypassed the alarm for testing purposes if your car would start up fine. Hopefully you didnt jack up your immobilzer system..

ok well i brought it to the store ans put a Battery tester to it. and sure enough the battery was not holding the charge. so i bought a new one and no problems yet.
