Rep Power: 0 2007 Honda Civic Hybrid Clicking when accelerating
Hello!! I just recently bought a used 2007 hybrid after my 2003 civic blew a head gasket at 185k .
all seems to be well minus the fact the battery seems to recal WAY to much but that seems to be a pretty normal thing with these and ill have that looked at another time. The problem I have is when I accelerate I hear an odd clicking noise that gets faster as RPMS go up. I dont have a clip of my exact issue but I did find a video online of somebody with a 2006 with an identical noise but no resolution was posted. The video is below and I was wondering if anybody could help me identify the issue (my mechanic has never worked on hybrids and he said "well it could be one of them hybrid noises" ) I decided to look elsewhere.
