weird noise when driving over puddle
I had this problem on my 2k1 LX once. I bought the car used and thought "great, I bought a broken car".
Well, it never did it again, and the Honda dealer did the TSB for me even though they couldn't get it to make the noise. Of course, it made the noise once in January and never has since.
I couldn't make it happen again, but told the dealer I didn't want this to be an issue after my warranty ran out.
One note -- on TSBs, you have to get them done under the 3/36 warranty...

So still to date there is no solution...? I have a long tube header with a cat delete pipe and custom piping...and yes I have the same damn problem only when it rains...although it did not start doing it until almost six months after I installed the h/e and race springs...I am going to try replacing the passenger side mount and see if that helps...also when I installed my clutch and flywheel, I replaced the front engine mount and it did not do it again until almost three months after that...hmmmm

its the exaust rattling against the chassis, what happens is that the water cools the pipe making it shrink, and it also adds to the weight so it has enough momentum to hit the chassis, to fix it you need to move the exaust pipe (primairly the "B" pipe away from the bottom of the car... I konw this because I never had a problem with my car before I draged it on a speed bump and bent it, now its closer to the chassis and it rattles against it when it gets wet.....

Zzyzx is right. I had the problem after several speed bump drags, stupid friends' fat girlfriends!
Anyways, the trick is the get the bend which is just underneith the passenger seat away from the bottom of the car, this brings attention to your pipe though from the side of the car as you drive by people they will see your exhaust is showing for about 2 feet.
BRING IT TO a muffler shop or something like that and you should get it done for cheap. I went to Speedy and they had it fixed for a long time until I really hit a nasty speed bump and pushed the pipe back up. Once again I have the ******* noise and I gotta bring it back to get fixed!
Companies like Greddy, I don't think have any responsibility because it's the way our cars are built. I guess maybe this happens more easily with bigger pipes because of the fact that we don't have that middle bump in the back of the car.
IT's FIXABLE! just bring it to a pro who can bend the pipe.

i have a magna flow muffler, but custom piping and i seem to get it alot when going over puddles and i took it back to the place that i had instal and to the custom piping and they didnt see any problem...but i kinda figured it was the piping vibrating against the heat sheild
