sai makes funnys sound

Just installed my short air intake. It makes a funny noise when I turn off the car. Is that normal?

I especially like the constant 'sss' noise it makes when driving or in idle before the car warms up. Sounds like a fake turbo and people always look.

no, trust me, it does not sound like a turbo. my friend had a dsm talon, and i asked him about the sound (i never owned a turbo car). he said it doesnt sound like a turbo in the least.

i like the sound of my SRI when i turn my car off.....i had some guys at a gas station come running up when they heard that and were like "daaang you have a BOV in that?" i laughed and said um yeah and went to go fill up.....of course i dont but they didnt need to know that....they were stupid little wanna be racer boys anyway haha they stood and stared at my car for awhile....till my boyfriend pulled up haha. oh well....if they had a serious car...i would have said no BOV
