All the above are reasons why i traded my civic in for a my P5.

5. No power anything on a dx.

7. When air is switched to defrost position can't turn off A/C.

10. No standard ABS.

11. CD player EXTRA
[hr]
As for 5,10 and 11, gotta get a higher trim than the DX.

As for the A/C, there's a DIY on how to turn it off.[hr]
yea, i know, but that's the thing i hate is trim levels. They should set one things standard. And just have 'options' you can add. Take the pro5 for example: everyone is 130hp/135tq, power everything, 16' alloys, 4wheel disc, abs, color matching mouldings and mirrors. Then you have your options, auto/stick, a/c, moonroof, leather. That makes it so much easier don't you think?

I hate how everything sticks to the darn seats and they get frizzies so easily. I am always picking my wife's hair off the darn seats. Lint sticks like to the seats like they are coated with honey. And frizzies like the seats are old sweaters. It sucks having to pick all the sheit off everytime I clean the car.

No glovebox lock either. I don't really need it but it just makes the car seem cheaper or something.

Thats why I have a "lint roller" in my glove box that doesn't lock, I was told when I bought the car that the glove box had a lock, and I didn't check because I was more concerned about everything else. I guess if Honda can save $1.50 on every car it adds up to some big bucks.

Let me try to help you!

1) the license plate frame on the front bumper, since i dont need a front license plate, i have that frame showing on the bumper, it annoys me.

- remove the front license plate frame and plug the holes.

[hr]
i dont mean that plastic bracket thing that screws onto the front bumper, i mean the front bumper itself, it has his rectangular shape petrusion, implied for a license plate, like in this pic:

see what i mean? at times i wished it looked like my dad's maxima:

he has these two little dents on the bumper that are there for the screws that go with the front license plate plastic bracket.

I don't think Canadian Model Civics have that rectangular thing on the bumper. You can take it off for a clean look.

I'll join in on the gripes too!

- Crappy Firestones
- A/C in defrost mode
- Foggy windows
- Driver's seat doesn't slide forward
- No light in glove compartment
- Headlights not bright enough
- Annoying beep when you forget to turn off the headlights..(which happens to me just about everyday....can't they just shut them off automatically like a '93 Subaru? Man, that's like way behind technology)
- Car locks itself when you don't climb in within a certain point (pros and cons...but more cons for me)
- I hate my spoiler! Can't see headlights of the car following me!

(I actually need my front license plate!!)
But all in all, I like my car and don't plan to give it up!

Let's see......

In no particular order:

1. Glove compartment doesn't lock
2. No light on vanity mirror
3. Side mirrors don't fold in
4. Trip odometers limited to 3 leading digits! (999.9)
5. Doors don't auto-lock or unlock with the ignition switch
6. No power lock switch on passenger side
7. No "memory" for driver's seat

Yeah, I know I'm getting picking, but you asked!

I've gotta say the rear deck rattles is most irritating to me!!! The small engine too! Althought I'm more of a show and no go guy, I hate trying to jump out into traffic with that little motor just buzzing away and going nowhere.........
