I lowered my car a few months ago with an adjustable coilover kit and ever since it has been making knocking noises from the front.[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG] I asked a few mechanics and they think it may be my cv but they aren't sure. Anyone have this problem? If so, what is the problem and how can I fix it?

u might have better luck for answers if u post the thread in the suspension section,i am aware of those knockin noise is familiar with all drops which involves springs alone or coilover..u will find more info there,CV joint is not likely the cause cus they will make a terrible groundin noise whenever the wheel is turning,good luck.

It shouldn't happen with coilovers. I am using aftermarket springs and I experienced that problem too. Brought it back to the shop and they twisted these metal things at the top of the strut housing which hold the spring in place. They didn't used those before. Problem was solved.
