well i lost my gas cap a couple dayys and my dad picked up another gas cap from honda (fricken $25 ) anyways i put it on and the light is still showing up what should i do?
in the manuel it said something about how it will hurt the engine
this is really bugging me out
what should i do??

Um, more than likely, the light will go off after several starts. At least, that's the way it was with my Chevy S-10. Either you can wait, or have Honda check it out...

wallmart or anyother place but honda will sell their for few bucks,what lamp indicator r u refering to?i think ur question is a bit written in riddle can u explain?

in the manuel is refers to it as a malfunction indicator lamp it lights up cus supposly i dont have my gas cap in but i bought another one and it still lighten up and it wont go away even tho since then i ve started my car up atleaat 10 times

now i fully understand the problem u have,the manual also stated that it may be a problem with the emmission control,u better take it to a dealer ,i presume u still have the factory warranty..good luck.

Are you talking about the light that looks like a little motor or engine or something? That's to signal a problem with the emission system. It WILL come on if you run the car with no gas cap, or the cap is too lose. My dealer said if it ever happens, just stop in and they'd reset the light, and it doesn't cause any other problem.
