Can you discribe the noise a little more, does it only happen when you apply the brakes, or all the time? Rear drum style brakes rarely make noise, I wonder if maybe you have a bad wheel bearing. Do you feel a vibration in the seat of the car when you drive?

okay the weird part is it doesn't happen when i apply the breaks it only happens when i'm drivng w/o the breaks on like on the highway but when it occurs i can usually get it to stop by applying the break for a few seconds....i took it to the dealer but they said there was nothing wrong (which i really dont believe...and there is no vibration at all when i'm driving....i'm thinking that maybe something just got inside the drum and is scraping along....thats all i was able to come up with

When you took it to the dealer did you go out on a drive with a tech and show them first hand. If you didn't the dealer probably just put it up on the lift and spun the wheel. I've noticed that dealer don't spend much time with warrenty work unless there is a obvouis part broken. Take it back and demand that someone go on a drive with you, even if you have to take them 15 miles to the highway.
