My brothers old Turbo Probe (piece o' crap BTW) did this, its called torque steer. Does it do it everytime you floor it or just once in a while? Because I know our cars aren't that torquey, but if you start off and the tires are on slick or oily pavment this might happen. I've noticed on my car that if I jump on it quickly off the line in first gear I feel a little torque steer but not enough to cause me to lose control of the car.

straight wheel or turned, from a turn the civic does have a substantial amount of torque steer.
