NOISE!!

When ever I back out of my driveway i hear this weird popping or grinding noise. I dont know what it is. Do you think it could be a blown strut or shock? How do I check if it is blown shock or strut? Thanks

push down on whatever side it's making the noise and when you let go, if it keeps bouncing then you need shocks.....or if your car is brand new it could be your brakes

Is it just an audible click? It may be the brakes shifting their positions, when you slow down from driving forward they shift counterclockwise on the rotor, when you brake in reverse they shift back clockwise. This is when they click, if this is your problem they are going to do it forever no matter what you do.

All 3 Honda/Acuras I have driven have done this (which includes a 2002 Civic EX, 97 Integra GSR, 93 Civic EX).
