im getting agrevated at my side airbag light....it just randomly comes on with nothing and nobody in the passenger seat. theres nothing stuck between the door and the seat either. my car is cleaned out, empty, just me in the driver seat, bam, side airbag light. funny thing is, it only really does it at night or in the morning, light after 11pm and before 10am....maybe something to do with moisture in the air or something?? i would really like it fixed though, any suggestions?

I have had this problem a few times. It is very annoying but very common in economy cars with the SIDE AIRBAG feature. I took it back to the dealer and had them reset the sensor. There's a way to reset the sensor yourself but, I don't know what it is and I personally don't like to mess around with that stuff. Hopefully, someone who knows will post a response for ya. Also, try posting in the TECH FORUM. They might know there.

Be rest assured, there is nothing wrong with the airbag. Personally, if I could do it all over again I wouldn't have gotten the SIDE AIRBAGS.

exactly, these airbags have been nothing but a pain in the @$$...oh well though...any other ideas?

I actually wanted them in my car but I couldn't get them in the 2001 but yeah econ boxes always have issues its not a Accord my dads car is still 17K and no problems
