weird problem in the rain

it rained pretty hard yesterday, and i noticed that when i accelerate from a stop, it felt like the wheels have no traction at all(rpm goes up, but car only move a little). it's like my wheels are spining, but i don't hear anything. i have an auto and i really didn't accelerate that hard at all.

another problem is that when i turn my wheels and accelerate hard, it felt like one wheel have traction and the other one doesn't, it's kinna hard to explain though, just feels really weird.

are those normal?

hope someone knows what i'm talking about

Sounds like your wheel is slipping in the rain, it might not make any noise,

as far as only one wheel with power going though a turn this is the way it s suppose to work, you have a front differental that will put power only to the wheel with the least reistance. Plus when you go though a turn one wheel is spinning faster than the other, if both wheels had power, the front end would skip and and the front tires would squeel like crazy.

here is how to tell: If the spedo AND the tack BOTH go up, the wheels are spinning. If just the tach goes up, it's time for a visit to your local honda dealer.

That is cuz there is too much water between your tire and the road...that happened to me yesterday, cuz I live in eastern PA and it rained for like 5 straight hours last night really hard!
