shaking at 75mph+

i noticed the other day when i got on the interstate that when i got up to around 70 75 mph the car started to shake. Would this be because of the rims being changed?

My car is stock, it shakes too at 75+mph. I think it's just air resistancy and other aerodynamics related things.... just a guess

Check to make sure your tires are all the same & air pressure is set right. I had this exact same problem with my old car; i had 4 mismatched tires.

things to check:

wheel balance (definatley the most likely cause here)
blown struts (have someone drive over bumps while your in a car behind)
broken engine mounts (you'd hear a clunking too)

Yeah, Ronin really educated me on this point...I have Motegi MR7's and it took me like 4 times of running back to the tire place to get my tires rebalanced...the conventional way to do it is putting the weights on the outside of the rim...what you need is high speed balancing where they put the weights on the inside of the wheel...once I had this done, no more shaking even @ 80 mph and above...

Try putting in a higher grade gas, if you are not already. My car started to shake around 75+, but it is fine now... then again I haven't really been pushing it too too hard since then.

Mine does it too, and from what I heard, it does relate to the tire pressure and balancing...I'd check that out first...
