Awful Squealing
2002 Honda Civic EX - L4 - 1.7L 1700cc
Horrible squealing when started and engine isn't warmed up. Gets worse when air is turned on, AC or Heat, and also when I slow down to turn. Will go away when I accelerate or even revving the engine while in nuetral.
Sometimes I can just turn the car on and let it idle and it wont squeal until I put it in Reverse or Drive. But other times it squeals reguardless. It's also began lasting longer than it originally did

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Belt(s) not tight enough, and check if the alternator bolts were left loose
