o2 sensor problems

Just bought a work car 03 civic hybrid. Check engine light was on when i checked it out had my scanner with me and pulled one code, p1166 02 sensor heater malfunction.

I bought the car, get home test the o2 sensor with meter and is in fact faulty. after much research, found the correct sensor to be 234-9005. bought, installed, cleared code and now i get this code.

P1158 Air/Fuel Ratio (A/F) Sensor (Sensor 1) AFS- Terminal Low Voltage

anyone else have this issue?

thanks in advance!
I see a last resort being reprogram the PCU

Re: o2 sensor problems

We see people all the time that received a “Denso Compatible” sensor that did not work worth a hoot.

True desnso will come in a denso box and have denso printed on the sensor and even then you still might have received a bad one.
