Bypass seat belt sensor 9-3 SRS Code

Is the switch for the seat belt sensor just a simple on/off microswitch or is it a Hal Sensor?

If you always wore your seat belt, could you bypass the switch and just complete the circuit?

SPDT microswitch.

I think there was a thread made about taking the buckle apart and cleaning the switch or something like that.

IDK if it eventually would notice the switch state never changes or not.

The SRS system needs accurate input from the buckle switch in the event of an impact because it looks at the seat belt status while its making airbag deployment decisions though, so it's kind of freekin important.
