I think i know why SRS light stays on... Seat belt not working?
I noticed that when my belt isnt on that the seat belt indicator isnt even lit up...
so, i guess the car just thinks my seatbelt is "on" whenever?
or is my seatbelt disconnected or something?
I notice when I take it off it doesnt "sling back" into place like it used to...

Get the code and you can usually trouble shoot it with a flow chart if you can get one from a shop. They might charge you though... but I would get it checked out b/c if the srs light is on then no air bags will operate.
Had this problem or similar as well. Would occasionally happen, i wouldn't have my seatbelt on and my car would think it was, turn it off and back on and be fine. In addition to that my Side airbag off light would come on for a strain of time, they replaced my whole gauge cluster for reasons other than that, and hasn't happend since.
When I told my dealer about it they said the relay to the dash was messed up in someway so the lights on my cluster were getting bad info.
