RPM Issues
Ok here is my story. I changed out my motor on my 2002 Honda Civic from a vehicle which had a automatic transmission . My vehicle was a straight shift. Motor runs great however I cannot go a move 4,000 rpm without the motor acting like it has a governor on it. There was one area on the motor that my old motor did not have. Because this switch or whatever it is is not hooked up I now have a engine light and the code Im getting has something to due with oil pressure on the cam. I was told there is a way to trick the computer by placing a resistor into the wiring so the computer does not sense the low oil reading. I know where I need to put the resistor but not sure what size I need to use. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: RPM Issues
Install the correct engine?
Install a correct VTEC cylinder head on this wrong engine?
I wonder....If I had a wiring diagram, and if I knew what the computer controls, and I knew exactly what the computer is looking for when it tries to activate the VTEC system, I wonder I could build a circuit that would fool it-- using a simple relay.
