Horn issue

Hey everyone,

I’m currently having an issue with my horn on an 03 Civic LX. For the most part it never works and in very rare occasions it will work once in a while for less than 5 seconds and then stops working.

I’ve checked the fuse and relay and they’re good. You can hear the relay clicking whenever I press on the horn.

Something else to note, the SRS light is on. My guess was that I could be the reel cable but cruise control works find. Maybe a dead horn?

**UPDATE**

The horn connector was bad, ended up swapping it with one from an Acura CL

Re: Horn issue

A $3 test light could tell you if the horn is receiving power or not.

Just ordered one from Amazon. Hoping the horn went out and it’s not the wiring.

Re: Horn issue

If it is the horn, consider scouring local junkyard for a nice loud Caddy horn or one from a full size pickup.

Re: Horn issue

Get the SRS code checked. Good chance it is for a failed driver's seat belt buckle - which is common.
