start clutch gone out. Should i even bother fixing this thing?
A few months back i had a shuddering and slipping with my car. had it taken in and had the transmission fluid flushed and it was better after that. Now my car started shuddering and slipping AGAIN but it seemed different this time. My mechanic plugged into computer before he left for the day and told me its my start clutch. After doing some research i find out that this is an engineering defect and that while under warranty Honda was replacing these, my grandmother who gave me the car was religious on bringing it in every 10k and took GREAT care of this car and they never mentioned that this "silent" recall had been put through to her. This seems so wrong and now i am really questioning whether i should put money into this because people seem to have repeat problems with this start clutch. This car seems like a lemon and im totally nervous. I am going to call Honda and see what they could do for me?
What should i do here?

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

She would have had to complain about it to the dealer before anything could be done.
End of story.
