I have a 2004 LX automatic with 60k miles. I bought it at 30k (original everything it was bought from an older lady who didn't drive much) and noticed the cruise control had issues.

When I turn the switch on and engage the cruise control from the steering wheel it doesn't engage (I tried it at 50, 60, 70 mph) until it gets down to about 35 mph then it revs up and wants to hold the speed but wants to decelerate at the same time. Needless to say it scared me when I tried it. Lol

I haven't got this issue looked into mostly because I do not use cruise that much, but lately it has been on my mind so I was curious if anyone else experienced this problem or know what may be causing this.

Do you have LED tail lights by any chance? I know they will screw with the cruise control.

I have regular lights. When I first initially read about the cruise control stuff I was hoping that was the issue until I actually looked at the lights lol.
