Key won't turn (ignition switch)

So I changed my ignition switch today but once I finished my key wouldn't turn at all. Does anyone know what I might've done wrong?

Re: Key won't turn (ignition switch)

You turned the steering wheel until it locked? Now there's pressure against the lock and you can't turn the key until you remove the pressure.....by turning the wheel.

Did you check that everything actually worked before assembling?

Or you screwed something up. Take it apart and recheck whatever you did.

I got it figured out, I didn't have the key on the off position when putting the switch on. Thanks for your help!
