Anyone know where this bracket goes?

This is pretty embarrassing. This small bracket was left over after I re-assembled everything after pulling the alternator, power steering pump, ignition wiring, front
timing covers"><span style=timing covers" /> timing covers">timing covers
, air intake and valve cover. It looks like a small bracket for an electrical connector or something but I don't see any place for it. I checked all the fiche diagrams at HondaParts but no luck in seeing it. It's got to be something that goes somewhere in the top front of the engine bay. Click image for larger version

The square top makes me think of the power steering res. bracket.

...but that's just a shot i the dark.

It's a LX 4 door, MT. Nice guess, but its not the P.S res bracket. Spent hours looking at parts diagrams for the stupid little thing.

Well, what's loose in the engine bay that shouldn't be loose? Either something electrical or a bracket for some tubing, like a clutch line. Those are my guesses.

Re: Anyone know where this bracket goes?

Checked and double-checked... nothing loose or missing that I could see. Obviously it goes somewhere and I'm just not seeing it. Didn't touch the clutch line or starter motor. Pulled everything off to remove the valve cover. Did that. pulled the, air intake, thermostat, p.s pump, alternator and upper timing belt cover. That's it. Then put it back together and left with this one small bracket and M5 x 10 Phillips hex screw with lock washer. Yeah, I know it's supposed to go somewhere...

Re: Anyone know where this bracket goes?

Would the bolt be 6mmx12?

No idea what it is, but it sure looks like it should be holding a wire harness up somewhere.

Couple guesses.....

bracket #10

bracket #14

bracket #11

Meh... I don't have a similar car to look at either

Found it! It's a bracket that screws into the starter motor or "stay" as they call it to hold the wiring in place. #26 on the diagram. That bracket costs $47.70!!
