2004 civic ex rough idle jerky acceleration

2004 civic ex rough idle jerky acceleration

i just started to have this problem over night, in park the idle fluctuates between 1k and 1.5k. when i go to hit the gas it jerks up to 2k then smooths right out. any suggestions?

any check engine light? any recent maintenance? If no check engine light, still scan it to see if there are any stored codes.. Without any more information, us trying to figure out what's wrong is gonna be like performing brain surgery blindfolded.

I'll guess the IAC stuck open .... or rodent ate a vacuum hose and caused a vacuum leak.
