Please try again.

Re: 2005 honda civic

.cause it keeps cutting or pulling out
Explain more? Your descriptive terms aren't meaning anything to me yet, I can't picture what you are seeing.

and each time it happens my battery light comes up
Maybe you mean you have been replacing the alternator belt? And it keeps coming loose?

Is the alternator not correctly bolted on, bolts not properly tightened?

and my car starts over heating.
Do you only notice this on the gauge, or does it spew antifreeze out?
Do the radiator fans operate correctly?
Blown head gasket?

Re: 2005 honda civic

i think the problem should be from the quality of the belt.cause under a space of 2yrs i have changed the belt 3 times.actually my mechanic said my power steering pump is bad.dont know if that can make the belt cut.

the alternator is properly fixed.i feel while the car is on motion the belt keeps wearing off till it becomes weak and sometimes it pulls out or cut.

Blown head gasket?
the over heating and the battery light comes up when the belt pulls out or cuts.it makes the car move slowly and it kills the battery life.cause the belt that rolls the alternator is out.
