Problem with New Driver's Side Power Window Regulator
Hey folks,
Car Details: 2002 Honda Civic EX 1.7L MFI VTEC SOHC 4cyl
Last weekend I used information I found in this forum and from other resources online to replace the driver's side power window regulator in my Civic. The repair was pretty inexpensive and straightforward. This is the part I installed:
Dorman Window Lift Motor: 741-742
Before I snapped the panel into place, I tested the switch for the window I was replacing and everything appeared to work. It wasn't until about a week later that I discovered the other three windows no longer work—both from the driver's side switch and each of the individual switches. One step forward and three steps back, I guess...
Do you have any recommendations on where I should start with troubleshooting? Do you think the replacement part is just incompatible with my car? It's weird, though, because the window I replaced works.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
