Rattle Sound form the engine...

Recently replaced Spark Plugs & Ignition Coils, after changing Valve Gasket. While changing ignition coils, I saw smoke coming out of the O2 Sensor for a brief period & (im sure) since then I hear a rattle noise from under the hood. Today in the morning, after the started my car... The CEL flashed twice... After again some 15 mins later, when I stopped for gas fill up & started the engine... CEL flashed 4 times.

Do you think, changing O2 Sensor helps ?

Does the below work ?

Thanks again.. in advance...

The CEL flashed twice

CEL flashed 4 times
What code(s) does it have stored?

Does the below work ?
Oh HELL NO!

Putting a crappy Bosch sensor is like installing brand new EXTRA problems to pull your hair out with.

Use the same brand and type that was installed by the factory.

And figure out what's actually wrong before throwing parts at it.

The codes may be stored, and could be read.

Oil Change is about ~500 miles old (after the valve gasket change).

The Valve Gasket change, might leave some trash in the engine... You think, this is causing the issue ?

So reset that light and change the oil?

The rattle sound (not very loud), is on though...

Any suggestions ?
How would someone like Stevie Wonder locate the source of a noise?

Re: Rattle Sound form the engine...

IMO there is no specific mileage interval and there is none listed in your owners manuals.
We don't ever just replace them "for maintenance" these days.

I don't change one unless it causes a code, it's verifiably electrically bad, causing a driveability problem, or physically damaged.....maybe a couple other possible reasons...

Some of the sensors are awful damn pricey to just be changing *****-nilly.
Unless someone just has way too much money laying around and needs to spend it.

The least you could do would be to pull it out and clean the sensor itself:
