I know you guys don't like posts about engine noises, but I have narrowed mine down. The noise will happen in any gear. With my foot slightly on the pedal, the engine will sound normal, but if I press harder on the pedal, it sounds like a metal sounding rattle. The problem is, it only makes it when its in gear. It also makes it when my foot is on the clutch and I'm bumping the accelerator. I have checked the entire engine bay for anything loose and came up with nothing. Could this noise be because of valve lash? Could is just need a valve adjustment?

Are you sure its not trans noise? Honda has nothing that touches the motor when it's in gear but the clutch plates making contact with the flywheel. I'll bet it's in the trans
