I live in indiana and have had a lot of snow recently, my girlfriend got the car up onto a snow drift, i had to forcibly get it out (i.e. forward reverse forward reverse) and in doing so i caused an exhaust leak. It drove for a while then died. we thought it caused the already deteriorating fuel pump to go out, but i have replaced the pump, and put in new spark plugs but i still cant get it to turn over. Could this be caused by the exhaust leak? or any other ideas?

what exactly happened when the car drove and then "died"?

an exhaust leak alone would not cause the engine not to start,

you need a spark, air, gas, and compression for the engine to start, you need to find out whats missing

It started off very laggy, not getting enough power to the engine, then finally stalled, i could get it to run for a while if i kept my foot on the gas no matter what but if i let it drop down in rpm it just died.

I'm no expert but i thought it was the fuel pump replaced it, no luck.
Looked into some stuff online thought i'd try the spark plugs, still no luck.
